The “Army+” application has a function for submitting a report on a change of place of service between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard.
A new function has appeared in the “Army+” application, allowing military personnel to submit an electronic report on a change of place of service between the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard of Ukraine.
The government adopted a decision to introduce a unified procedure for transferring military personnel in early October. From now on, the procedure is carried out in digital format, which simplifies the submission of documents and reduces the time for their consideration.
“Military personnel are given the opportunity to change their place of service quickly and conveniently. The digital approval path through Army+ creates a transparent mechanism that eliminates delaying or ignoring decisions, ” – noted the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.
You can submit a report in the “Change of place of service” section of the “Army+” application, choosing the direction of transfer – from the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the National Guard or vice versa. The report must include a copy of the military ID or officer’s ID and a letter of recommendation from the commander of the unit to which the transfer is planned.
The Personnel Center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or the personnel unit of the Main Directorate of the National Guard directly contacts the commander of the unit where the serviceman serves. The commander must provide approval or a reasoned refusal within 48 hours. If there is no response, approval is automatically granted.
For military personnel who are transferred to rear positions or who, according to the conclusion of the VLK, are unfit for service in their current position, it is necessary to attach the conclusion of the VLK. For this category, the approval of the unit commander is not required.
Personnel bodies within the department carry out a check within seven days. The transfer may be refused if the serviceman, for example, is dismissed from his position, absent from duty, or is under an internal investigation. The full list of grounds is provided in the “Army+” application and in the Cabinet Resolution No. 1291. After the check, the report is forwarded for consideration to another department.
In case of approval, the transfer takes place within 30 days after the order is issued. The serviceman will receive a notification in “Army+” with the number of the relevant order.
“The launch of digital reporting is another stage in the implementation of personnel reforms in the Defense Forces. The new functionality is designed to increase the efficiency of management in the army and create comfortable conditions for service”, – emphasized Denys Shmyhal.
