Kyiv suffered a massive combined strike from the Russian Federation: there are dead and wounded

On the night of April 24, Kyiv suffered one of the largest attacks by Russian troops in the recent period, there are dead and wounded. First, the city was attacked by Shahed-type attack drones, and later by ballistic missiles. About this informs Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko.

“Sviatoshyn district suffered the most as a result of the enemy attack. Fires broke out in 6 locations. There is destruction,” – says the message.

According to available information, 9 people died, at least 63 were injured, including 6 children. 42 people, including children, were hospitalized. In Sviatoshyn district, rescue services continue to work to eliminate the consequences.

“Destructions occurred in residential buildings: the search for people under the rubble continues. Fires broke out in garages, administrative buildings, non-residential buildings. Cars and dry grass caught fire due to falling debris. Firefighters extinguished the fire. Currently, liquidation of the consequences of the night shelling is underway in 5 districts of the capital. Psychologists and canine specialists of the State Emergency Service work”, – noted in the State Emergency Service.

Kyiv region was also attacked. As a result of the combined attack of the enemy in the Buchansk district, two women were injured and suffered an acute stress reaction. Necessary assistance was provided directly at the scene.

Updated data indicate damage to three five-story residential buildings in Buchansky district. A fire broke out on the roof of one of them, which has already been extinguished. Four shops, eight cars and a public transport stop were also damaged.

A warehouse and three cars were damaged in the Vyshgorod district. Fires in the forest massif and in the open area were successfully extinguished. Rescuers extinguished a fire in a field in Brovary district. Operational services continue to record the consequences of shelling and carry out measures to eliminate them.
