Law enforcement officers reported suspicions that officials had seized state land worth over 22 million hryvnias

Law enforcement officers of Kyiv region reported about the suspicion of officials in the case of illegal possession of a state plot of land worth more than 22 million hryvnias.

It is about the exposure of a scheme in the village of Dmytrivka, Buchansky district, as a result of which the land plot was removed from state ownership. The three involved in the case can receive up to 15 years in prison, and the director of the state enterprise faces up to six years in prison.

Illegal activity was documented by the investigators of the Kyiv Oblast Police under the operational support of the Buchanskyi District Department of the State Security Service in the city of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast, under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv Oblast Prosecutor’s Office.

The investigation established that the director of one of the state-owned enterprises organized the transfer of almost 18 hectares of land to a controlled company, using a forged deed of acceptance and transfer. The document mentioned the alleged decision of the session of the village council, which was not actually adopted.

A state registrar from the Dnipropetrovsk region was involved in formalizing the raider capture. For a monetary reward, he gave an outsider access to the state register, who entered false data. Registration actions were carried out without the participation of any legitimate representative.

As a result of these actions, a plot of land worth more than 22.8 million hryvnias was illegally removed from state ownership. Later, the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine annulled the registration decision, which registered the ownership of the company.
