Leaders of the processing industry: companies that increased profits by 25%
According to the results of 2023, the total income of leading companies in the processing industry of Ukraine amounted to UAH 317.53 billion.

In 2023, the ten leading companies of the processing industry of Ukraine received a total income of UAH 317.53 billion, which is 23% more compared to the previous year. About this informs The opendatabase.
Main market players
Companies from Rinat Akhmetov’s SCM group earned more than a third of the total income, and Roshen received the largest net profit.

TOP-10 companies
Rinat Akhmetova’s “Zaporizhstal” leads the rating, which increased its revenue by 20% to UAH 56.4 billion. Despite this, the company suffered losses in the amount of UAH 4 billion for the second year in a row.
In second place is another company of Akhmetov – “Kamet Steel”. Its income increased by 14% and amounted to UAH 43.07 billion. However, the company’s losses increased 1.4 times and reached UAH 950 million.
Another company of Akhmetov, “Zaporizhkoks”, took 9th place in the rating with an income of UAH 15.87 billion. This is the only business of the SCM group that turned positive with a net profit of UAH 397 million.
ArcelorMittal (formerly Kryvorizhstal, Mittal Steel Corporation) closes the top three. The company’s income decreased by 5% to UAH 41.84 billion, but the company was able to reduce its losses 4 times to UAH 12 billion.
Companies with the highest profit growth
“Coca-Cola” showed the largest increase in net profit, which increased 37 times over the year to UAH 1.64 billion.

Oleksiy Poroshenko’s “Roshen” company remained in the black and increased its profit by 1.4 times, earning UAH 5.64 billion — the largest profit among the top 10.
MHP Group
The top 10 also included two companies of Yuriy Kosyuk’s MHP group with a combined income of UAH 61.57 billion or 19% of the income of the entire rating. “Vinnytsia Poultry Factory” increased its revenue by a third to UAH 39.25 billion, and the net profit amounted to UAH 1.05 billion (-11%). “Katerynopil Elevator” received an income of UAH 22.32 billion, but suffered a loss of UAH 156 million.
Other prominent companies
“Ukrainian armored vehicles” was able to increase its revenue by 2.5 times to UAH 32.42 billion, and net profit increased by four times to UAH 708 million.
“Interpipe Nico Tube” from Viktor Pinchuk’s EastOne group earned UAH 20.5 billion, increasing revenue by a quarter. Net profit almost doubled to UAH 4.95 billion.
Companies that dropped out of the rating
According to the report, three companies left last year’s rating:
- “Dniprostal” — UAH 11.9 billion in revenue (+10% for the year);
- “Delta Wilmar Ukraine” — UAH 11.06 billion in revenue (-6%);
- “Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant” — UAH 9.5 billion in revenue (-6%).
