The Ministry of Defense announced the appearance of new postponements in “Reserve+”
The Ministry of Defense is working to ensure that all statutory deferrals can be obtained in electronic format. By May 8, new deferral categories will appear in the “Reserve+” application, reported Deputy Minister of Defense Kateryna Chernogorenko,
She reminded that this week deferments became available for people with disabilities, even without a pension certificate. By May 8, the application will also provide an opportunity to issue a deferment for persons temporarily unfit for military service for a period of 6 to 12 months – based on the opinion of the Military Police. In addition, an option will be available for persons whose spouse is serving, provided that there is a child under the age of 18.
“Launching deferrals is a voluminous and multi-level process. It is necessary to agree on access to the registers of various ministries and organizations, to establish interaction between them, to understand which way of obtaining should be worked out so that the deferral is generated properly. Now we are gathering the necessary pace to launch deferrals systematically. Because we understand that it is important for people. Not to collect pieces of paper, not to stand in line at the TCC, not to see closed doors in front of us in the necessary office” – noted Chernogorenko.
According to her, the goal of the department is to make all types of deferrals provided by law available online in a convenient and operational format.
We will remind you that the “Reserve+” mobile application was launched by the Ministry of Defense on May 18, 2024. Through it, conscripts, conscripts and reservists can update their credentials. Over time, more and more features appear in the application.
