Mastercard has introduced a new payment service “Flexible payment” in Ukraine, which allows you to combine different payment methods within the framework of one purchase.

How it works
If there are not enough funds on the Mastercard bank card for the full payment, the user can pay the difference with another card (of any bank and payment system) or in cash. This eliminates the need to cancel a purchase or split it into multiple checks. The “Flexible payment” service is already available at OKKO and WOG gas stations, as well as on the online money transfer platform iPay.ua. The list of partners where you can use the service will be expanded.

- The ability to make purchases even with insufficient balance on the main card.
How to use the service:
- Try to pay for the purchase with a Mastercard card in the network of partners.
- If there are not enough funds on the card, you will receive an SMS or a notification in the mobile application with information about the available amount.
- The cashier will offer to pay the balance in another way.
- Choose a convenient method of additional payment (another card or cash).
The service is available for Mastercard cards of certain banks (their list is expanding). The card-issuing bank can independently decide on connection to the service.
