Mazepa’s saber, which Usyk carried to the fight with Fury, returned to Ukraine

The saber of Hetman Ivan Mazepa, which boxer Oleksandr Usyk raised after defeating Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia, returned to Ukraine. About this reported State Customs Service of Ukraine.
The Kyiv customs office ensured the return of the historical relic to Ukraine after its temporary removal for display in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The process of customs clearance of the saber took place in accordance with all norms and procedures defined by Ukrainian legislation.
This unique relic of the end of the 17th century, which comes from the Chernihiv Regional Historical Museum named after Vasyl Tarnovsky, is a symbol of the glorious history of Ukraine.
“The appearance of the arms of the Ukrainian hetman on the world stage became a testimony of our heroic past and present, a reflection of the era of the hetmanship, and also demonstrated the strength and spirit of Ukrainians.” — emphasized in DMSU.
It will be recalled that Oleksandr Usyk defeated the British Tyson Fury for the second time, defending his titles of the WBC, WBA and WBO heavyweight world champion.
