On September 25, the Meta technology company announced the launch of a new platform — the Vibes social network, where users can modify their own videos or create new ones with the help of artificial intelligence (AI) tools. The company reported this in a press release.
On the web platform, you can create short videos generated by AI or remix existing videos by adding music or changing the style. Once you’ve made your video, you can immediately share it to your Vibes feed, send it to friends in private messages, or post it to Instagram and Facebook Stories and Reels.
“If you see a Meta AI video on Instagram, you can click on it to remix it in the Meta AI app“, the developers say.
At the initial stage, users will see videos from creators and communities in the feed, and later the feed will become more personalized.
“We are working on even more powerful tools and models for content creation together with talented visual artists and creators, and we will implement them more widely in the future”, announced the Vibes functionality update in Meta.
