Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Lisovyi got into a scandal because of data about the army: details
A scandal broke out in social networks related to the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Oksen Lisov. Lawyer Nikita Andreev blamed Lisovoy in falsifying information about his service in the army.
Andreev claims that the data on the official website of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, which indicate that Lisovyi was part of the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade, do not correspond to reality. The lawyer also believes that the photos of Lisovoy in military uniform are authoritative.
In confirmation of his words, Andreev published the answer of the commander of the airborne assault troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Maksym Myrhorodskyi, according to which Lisovyi was not included in the lists of the military unit.
“Minister Oksen Lisovyi was never in the 95th ODSHBr, as it is written on the website of the MES. The photo that you see and that was actively walking around the spaces of the media before its appointment, is decided“, the message says.
Nikita Andreev published a photo, as he points out, of the response of the then commander of the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Maksym Myrhorodskyi.
“On the website of the Ministry of Education, at least as of yesterday, there was information that he served in the 95th brigade. In the 95th brigade, no one, from the rank and file to the commander, confirms this. Therefore, there was a request back in 2023, and the answer was given that he really did not serve there. I believe that this (information on the website of the Ministry of Education – Ed.) is misleading. He excuses himself that he was not in the 95th brigade, but in the DFTG (voluntary formation of the territorial community – Ed.)”, – added Andreev.
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine responded to the accusations, stating that Lisovyi never claimed that he was a soldier of the 95th brigade, but was part of the voluntary formation of the territorial community (DFTG).
“Oksen Lisovyi never said that he was directly a serviceman of the 95th brigade. He was part of the DFTG, which was also given combat orders and went on missions. He really wasn’t in military custody, because he wasn’t directly a soldier of the 95th brigade. They were on common positions“, the Ministry of Education reported
The First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Yevhen Kudryavets resolutely defended Oksen Lisovoy, accusing lawyer Mykyta Andreev of spreading outright lies. Kudryavets emotionally recalled how Lisovyi, risking his life, went to the front (“to zero”), and how they together made efforts to meet military needs.
“This is not a political game, this is a personal insult and a lieme, ” Kudryavets wrote, addressing Andreev. He emphasized that Lisovyi had repeatedly risked his life, and accusations of lying about his military service are inadmissible.
