Modernization of military aviation starts in Ukraine, taking into account the recommendations of combat pilots
In Ukraine, the modernization of military aviation is starting, which will take into account the recommendations of combat pilots. About this reported Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Brigadier General Anatoly Klochko during an inspection of the airfield of one of the tactical aviation brigades of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The Deputy Minister of Defense explained that although Ukraine receives new aircraft from partners, updating the existing equipment is also a priority task.
“The first of our planes will undergo modernization. This will improve their tactical and technical characteristics, and therefore increase the safety of pilots and the efficiency of their work.” Anatoly Klochko noted.
In his opinion, the success of this process depends on the coordinated and proactive cooperation of all involved parties. He called on the command of aviation brigades performing combat missions to regularly report on the actual needs of their units.
At the same time, the command of the Air Force, relevant divisions of the Ministry of Defense and aviation enterprises must respond promptly to these requests in order to satisfy them as quickly as possible.
