More than 65,000 Ukrainians will receive compensation for damaged housing
More than 86,000 Ukrainians applied for help for current and capital repairs of damaged housing within the framework of the “eRecovery” program. Compensation payments have already been agreed for 65,000 Ukrainians for a total amount of UAH 15.7 billion.
About this in Telegram the press service of the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure reported, reports Ukrinform.
“The state compensation program for damaged and destroyed housing has been operating for almost a year. During this time, more than 86,000 Ukrainians applied for assistance for current and capital repairs. Confirmed payments to 52.4 thousand applicants for a total amount of UAH 5.6 billion”, – the message says.
Almost 13,000 Ukrainians applied for housing certificates for completely destroyed housing for the total amount of UAH 10.1 billion. 2,402 applicants have already used housing certificates to purchase new housing instead of the destroyed one.
The largest number of applications for compensation came from:
- Kharkiv region
- Kyiv region
- Donetsk region
- Mykolaiv region
Housing certificates are most actively used to buy real estate in:
- Kyiv region
- Kyiv
- Kharkiv region
- Mykolaiv region
- Chernihiv region
The total cost of housing purchased under certificates is almost UAH 5 billion.
