More than 7000 citizens became candidates for the Defense Forces through recruiting centers: Ministry of Defense
Since the start of the recruitment centers, 32,736 citizens have received advice on entering the military service, of which 7,329 have become candidates for the Defense Forces as of January 2025. About this informs Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“Despite the New Year holidays, citizens actively visited recruiting centers to learn more about the conditions for entering the military service. Currently, there are more than 10,000 vacancies in various military formations in recruiting centers across the country. This gives everyone who wants to join the Defense Forces the opportunity to choose a specialty that best matches their professional abilities and skills.” – noted Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Brigadier General of Justice Serhiy Melnyk.
Today, more than 10,000 vacancies in various military formations are open in 47 recruiting centers across the country. Army recruiting centers are non-subpoena-free, and all consultations are confidential.
Earlier, the department reported that every fourth person who applies to recruiting centers successfully passes the selection for military service. Among those who applied, 20% are women.
