More than a million people in Kyiv left without electricity: Zelensky
In the capital of Ukraine, more than a million consumers were left without electricity, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced in an evening address.
According to him, the situation is complicated by the fact that more than 4 thousand high-rise buildings in the capital were left without heating. The President emphasized that now it is necessary to mobilize resources as much as possible and ensure coordination of actions with business.
“All forces must be directed to alleviate the situation. Government officials must provide non-linear proposals that will protect life and how to restructure work – how to support people, how to support business, ” – Zelensky emphasized.
He also noted that it is important to correctly distribute existing generation and consumption to ensure stabilization, as well as identify additional programs to support the population.
“The government is personally responsible for this, so I expect a specific, clear list of actions and decisions, ” – the president added.
