Motivation, drones and medicine: Syrskyi named the main needs of the Ukrainian army

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskyi spoke about the results of the week’s work on the Eastern Front. That’s what he’s about wrote in your Telegram channel.

In particular, he noted that he visited almost all brigades in the Pokrovsky, Kurakhivsky, Vremivskyi, Toretsk, Kramatorsk directions, as well as the leading battles in Vovchansk and near Kharkiv. Active battles continue in all directions, while the Pokrovsky direction remains the most difficult – there, despite significant losses in armored vehicles, the enemy does not stop offensive actions. In this regard, the head insists on the importance of strengthening the Pokrovsky direction with additional ammunition and firepower.

In addition, Oleksandr Syrskyi spoke about the main problems that Ukrainian defenders have to face: it is about the difficulties of equipping units and units with motivated and well-trained military personnel, as well as the need to have modern means of radio electronic warfare (EW) and air defense (APD) in order to effectively fight enemy UAVs.

At the same time, the commander-in-chief added that the Armed Forces prevail in the number and quality of combat copters, especially bombers and FPV drones, as well as in the skill of operators. In his opinion, this will contribute to the success and preservation of the lives of fighters.

Separately, Syrskyi announced work on improving the system of tactical medicine, as well as adapting the program of basic training of servicemen for actions in the conditions of the complete dominance of drones on the battlefield. A meeting with the participation of UAV unit commanders is also planned, during which experience will be exchanged and prospects for further development of this type of weapon will be discussed.
