The event will be held under the slogan “We, Robot”, reminiscent of the cult film “I, Robot” with Will Smith. Musk said that this event will go down in the history books.
According to sources, during the presentation Tesla plans to show a new technology – a specially created robotax that will be able to transport passengers without the driver’s participation. In addition, a demonstration of the latest achievements in the field of humanoid robots called Optimus is expected.
Previously, Musk has repeatedly emphasized that Tesla has the best opportunities to bring humanoid robots to mass production thanks to innovative solutions in the field of artificial intelligence. According to him, these robots will be able to perform monotonous work in factories and other enterprises, freeing people from routine tasks. However, Tesla emphasizes that robotics will not lead to job losses, as new technologies will only be an auxiliary tool.
It is also worth noting that Neuralink, owned by Musk, has already created Blindsight technology, which is capable of restoring sight even to those who were blind from birth. The US Department of Health recognized this device as “revolutionary”.
The event promises to be an important milestone not only for Tesla, but also for the entire technological world, because Musk always surprises with new breakthrough solutions that affect the future of humanity.
