NACP’s inspection of its employees in the Energoatom case ended without any violations identified

The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has completed an internal audit initiated in connection with the possible involvement of the institution’s employees in the investigation known as Operation Midas. According to the results of the audit, no signs of violations in the actions of the NACP employees were found. This was reported by the NACP press service.

The internal audit was initiated on November 10, 2025, after NABU published information within the framework of criminal proceedings against SE Energoatom. The NACP noted that the established commission did not record any facts of corruption, receiving undue benefit, or third-party influence on the decisions of the agency’s employees.

All verified financial control measures, according to the NACP, were carried out exclusively within the scope of the granted powers and in compliance with the requirements of current legislation. The agency will inform the NABU, the Public Council at the NACP, and the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Anti-Corruption Policy about the results of the internal audit.

The agency also stated its readiness to respond to other possible facts of violations if they are received and called on citizens to report alleged abuses by NACP employees via a special hotline or the Unified Whistleblower Portal.

The internal audit lasted two months. In November 2025, the NACP already published interim results and reported on the processing of materials submitted by NABU detectives.
