NAZK partially automates the filling of declarations: what will change for officials

From October 12, 2024, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NACP) will introduce partial auto-filling of declarations.

About it in the interview Forbes Ukraine said the head of the agency Viktor Pavluschyk.

The data for the declarations will be pulled from the registers to which NAZK has automated access, says Pavluschyk. This will not apply to all the information that the person has to show in the declaration, he adds. For example, the registers do not contain data on objects abroad, cash, cryptocurrency, antiques, etc. The new approach will help to avoid technical errors, for example, when instead of the value of the object, its cadastral or registration number is put, says the head of the NAKC”, – said Pavluschyk.

He also added that the presence of even one technical error can form a high risk rating of the declaration, as a result of which it will be subjected to a full check, as a result of which it will be found not a crime, but inattention when filling out the declaration, he explains. As a result, the employees of NAZK will be able to check declarations more quickly.

At the end of 2023, the Verkhovna Rada passed a law on the return of the annual declaration for officials.
