The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine officially codified the new unmanned ground complex “Logistic Snake” developed by Ukrainian engineers. About this reported press service of the department.
The robot is equipped with ballistic and anti-mine protection and is designed for transporting cargo, evacuating the wounded and towing light equipment.
“Thanks to its low height, the Logistic Snake remains inconspicuous on the terrain. The robot is capable of carrying several hundred kilograms of cargo or pulling a trailer of similar weight.”Colonel Volodymyr Rochniak emphasized the head of the Main Department for Life Cycle Support of Weapons and Military Equipment.
The robot can be adapted to combat tasks by adding additional modules. It is equipped with metal wheels with wide traction, which allows it to overcome off-road, swampy areas, rocky terrain and shallow water bodies. Control is carried out remotely, which ensures the safety of the operator.
