Norway and the Netherlands will help with the restoration of Ukrainian energy after the strikes of the Russian Federation
Ukraine reached agreements with Norway and the Netherlands on assistance in restoring Ukraine’s energy system after the Russian attacks. This was announced President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The President held a meeting on international activities for nine months and defining tasks for the next three months.
“First – audit of the implementation of agreements, and above all, regarding defense packages and support for our stability, in particular energy. Second – relations with the United States and the negotiating track to end the war. The third – European direction”, — Volodymyr Zelenskyi.
He added that they discussed not only the negotiations regarding Ukraine’s membership in the EU, but also bilateral cooperation programs with European partners: investments in Ukrainian defense production, the creation of joint production facilities in partner countries, and the implementation of programs such as PURL and SAFE.
Special attention was paid to the use of frozen Russian assets for full defense support and recovery after strikes.
“We are getting close to a resolution on assets and I thank everyone who is helping. It is absolutely fair that Russia should pay for the war that it started, drags out and conducts in a frankly terrorist manner, the head of state noted.
