Nvidia provided Ukrainian students with free access to the Deep Learning Institute educational platform

The American company Nvidia has given Ukrainian universities free access to its educational platform Deep Learning Institute, training on which usually costs tens of thousands of dollars. The agreement was made possible thanks to cooperation with the Kyiv IT cluster. This is reported by Forbes.

A complete package of 11 courses on the DLI platform is valued at $68,000, while individual programs cost between $30-$100 for basic classes or about $500 for workshops with an instructor. Now Ukrainian students can master the key areas of work with artificial intelligence for free — from accelerated calculations and big data analysis to creating their own AI models.

The DLI platform offers training in two formats: independent online courses and workshops with an instructor. Both public and private universities training IT specialists can join. Students of any faculty can participate in the program on an optional basis.

Of the nearly 30 universities approached by the Kyiv IT-cluster, currently only the Kyiv Aviation Institute has agreed to train teachers to obtain the status of Nvidia certified instructors. They will have the opportunity to hold official workshops for students at their educational institutions.
