Офіційний Пекін спростував звинувачення у постачанні летальної зброї будь-якій стороні війни в Україні. Це стало реакцією на заяву Володимира Зеленського про наявність у нього інформації щодо передачі Китаєм озброєння Росії. Про це повідомляє The Guardian. “Китайська сторона ніколи не надавала летальну зброю жодній зі сторін конфлікту (так у КНР офіційно називають війну РФ проти України) і суворо контролює предмети подвійного призначення”, — зазначив речник Міністерства закордонних справ КНР Лінь Цзянь. У заяві, зробленій 18 квітня, представник зовнішньополітичного відомства підкреслив, що позиція Китаю щодо війни в Україні залишається “послідовною і чіткою”. “Ми завжди активно докладали зусиль для припинення бойових дій і мирних переговорів”, — наголосив Лінь. Нагадаємо, що 17 квітня Володимир Зеленський, посилаючись на розвіддані, заявив, що Китай передає Росії артилерію та порох, а також бере участь у виробництві окремих видів зброї на території РФ. Хоча Китай декларує нейтралітет у війні Росії проти України, західні країни неодноразово критикували його за тісну співпрацю з Москвою, що, на їхню думку, забезпечує Росії критично важливу економічну та дипломатичну підтримку.
Official Beijing denied accusations of supplying lethal weapons to any side of the war in Ukraine. This was a reaction to Volodymyr Zelenskyi’s statement that he had information about China’s transfer of arms to Russia. About this informs The Guardian.
“The Chinese side has never provided lethal weapons to any of the parties to the conflict (this is how the Russian Federation’s war against Ukraine is officially called in the PRC) and strictly controls dual-purpose items.”, — said the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, Lin Jian.
In a statement made on April 18, a representative of the foreign policy department emphasized that China’s position on the war in Ukraine remains “consistent and clear.”
“We have always actively made efforts to end hostilities and peace negotiations,” Lin emphasized.
It will be recalled that on April 17, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, citing intelligence, said that China supplies Russia with artillery and gunpowder, and also participates in the production of certain types of weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation.
Although China declares its neutrality in Russia’s war against Ukraine, Western countries have repeatedly criticized it for its close cooperation with Moscow, which they say provides Russia with critical economic and diplomatic support.
