One person killed and five injured in Russian missile strike on Kharkiv
On the afternoon of June 29, Russian forces launched a guided bomb strike on Kharkiv. One person was killed and five others were injured in the attack.
The consequences of the strike were reported by Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov and the Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleg Synegubov. According to preliminary data, the strike occurred in the Kholodnohirsky district of the city.
“The enemy KAB struck the Kholodnohirsky district. We are clarifying the details”, — noted Terekhov.
According to the mayor, there are seriously injured people among the victims. The strike also damaged a tram, an electrical network, more than 15 cars, a company building, and residential buildings located near the site of the strike.
It was previously reported that Russian forces, using infiltration tactics, are attempting to infiltrate across the border in Kharkiv Oblast and move towards the village of Kozacha Lopan, which is located 2 km from the border.
The attack on Kharkiv was another Russian strike on the city’s civilian infrastructure, and local authorities are continuing to clarify the consequences of the shelling.
