Oschadbank announced temporary restrictions on services due to a planned technical update. The work will be carried out on the night of March 22-23, from 00:10 to 06:00. This was reported by Oschadbank.
During this time, customers will not be able to perform transactions with payment cards, withdraw or deposit money through ATMs, or pay at POS terminals and online. In addition, the mobile applications “Mobile Savings” and “OschadPAY” will be temporarily unavailable.
The financial institution noted that the update is necessary to modernize the system and check the fault tolerance of the processing infrastructure. It is expected that this will increase the stability and reliability of the services in the future.
After the completion of technical work, from 06:00 on March 23, all services will resume operation in standard mode. The bank advises customers to make the necessary payments in advance to avoid inconvenience.
We would like to add that on March 9, at around 10:00, Oschadbank’s cybersecurity protocols detected suspicious activity, which temporarily restricted the operation of some electronic services for technical verification.
The bank’s specialists promptly performed all necessary actions and thoroughly checked the IT infrastructure. Customer data and their funds remain fully protected – no signs of their compromise were detected.
