Over 1,900 homes remain without heat in Kyiv

As of the morning of January 23, more than 1,900 multi-story buildings in Kyiv remain without heat. This was reported by the mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klitschko, on his Telegram page.

According to him, during the night, utility and energy workers managed to restore heat supply to more than 650 houses.

“As of this morning, 1,940 high-rise buildings remain without heat supply, which are being connected for the second time after the enemy attacks on January 9 and 20… That is, during the night, utility and energy workers began supplying heat to more than 650 houses”, – Klitschko noted.

The mayor specified that most of the houses that still do not have heating are located on the left bank of Kyiv and in the Pechersk district. Also, some of the high-rise buildings without heat are in the Holosiivskyi and Solom’yanskyi districts.

Klitschko added that work to restore the heat supply is ongoing, and utilities are doing everything possible to restore heat to all houses as quickly as possible.
