Overdue humanitarian aid in children’s hospital: head of the charity foundation comments on the situation

The scandal surrounding overdue humanitarian aid, which was delivered to the Odesa Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital by representatives of the “Fatherland” party and the “Noble Cause” charitable foundation, continues to gain momentum. According to “Dumska” newspaper, Serhiy Shutov, the head of the fund, denied all the accusations, saying that the aid met all quality standards, and the fund has the necessary documents to prove it.

According to him, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the foundation has been actively supporting medical institutions, and he considers this incident to be the result of political intrigues.

“Unexpectedly, we were given a political color. We received the humanitarian aid officially with all the documents, and the fund established strict quality control. There were no complaints before. We will definitely check the goods that were at the center of this scandal.”Shutov emphasized.

He also noted that he involved fellow party members from the “Motherland of the Young” to help unload humanitarian cargo in Odesa.

“Previously, our foundation did not work in Odesa, we worked in Podilsk, Balta, Tarutyn, Artsys, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Donbass. There were no complaints anywhere. In Odesa, to establish communication, I invited comrades from the party for the first time. We unloaded the car, handed over diapers , vitamins, antiseptics, etc. The medical staff was grateful to the “Noble Cause” Foundation. And suddenly, the next day, a scandal broke out that humanitarian aid was overdue, and I consider it all a provocation is defamed in order to score political points and lie to competitors”, – explained the head of the fund.
