People’s Deputy Dmytro Kostyuk bought an apartment in Kyiv with money donated by his mother

People’s Deputy of Ukraine Dmytro Kostyuk purchased an apartment in Kyiv for 4,647,500 hryvnias, using funds donated to him by his mother, Olena Kostyuk. This is evidenced by data of his electronic declaration of changes in property status.

According to the declaration, on December 19, 2025, the mother of the People’s Deputy gave him 6 million hryvnias as a gift. Three days later, on December 22, Dmytro Kostyuk purchased an apartment with an area of 54.6 square meters in Kyiv.

Previously, the People’s Deputy was unable to provide the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption with supporting documents on the origin of 2.6 million hryvnias of his own assets. Kostyuk explained part of the assets in the amount of 2.8 million hryvnias that belonged to his wife as gifts.

Earlier, Kostyuk’s political activities attracted public attention. He left the parliamentary faction “Servant of the People” due to the adoption of bill No. 12414, which limits the independence of the NABU and the SAPO, although he himself voted for this bill. In 2020, Kostyuk supported a rally by former President Petro Poroshenko against the Russian language bill, during which participants unfurled a poster depicting current President Volodymyr Zelensky with a bullet in his forehead.
