The investigation established that on June 20, 2024, in the city of Dnipro, a group of people, acting on the instructions of a people’s deputy, illegally detained a former serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the use of physical force and special means. The victim was injured. He was also deprived of his freedom for a certain time.

On November 15, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv extended Mykola Tyshchenko’s preventive measure in the form of round-the-clock house arrest until December 23.

At the same time, the deputy’s bodyguard pleaded guilty to assaulting a military officer during an unauthorized raid on call centers in Dnipro. He agreed to a deal with the investigation and gave relevant testimony.
