Pharmaceutical manufacturers of Ukraine will reduce the prices of another 273 medical drugs. About this reported Minister of Health Viktor Lyashko.
“We have a list of 273 medical drugs from 26 manufacturers, which have also already changed or are changing the wholesale price by an average of 16%. Of these, 97 drugs are those that we have in the National List, 90 prescription drugs, 86 over-the-counter drugs.”, — noted Lyashko.
According to him, the price reduction for these drugs will take place in the near future, “when new drugs are purchased at new prices from distributors and delivered to the pharmacy.” Commenting on the list of drugs whose prices have already been reduced since March 1, the minister noted that the issue was resolved comprehensively.
“The top 100 was taken from what Ukrainians bought most often in Ukrainian pharmacies of the Ukrainian manufacturer. These are the drugs for which Ukrainians paid the most money out of their own pockets. Therefore, when their prices drop by 30%, it will be most noticeable for the Ukrainian patient.” Lyashko stressed.
We will remind that from March 1, 2025, the prices of the 100 most popular medicines were reduced by 30%. To this end, Ukrainian pharmaceutical manufacturers signed a declaration on reducing and stabilizing prices.
