Putin’s “inauguration” took place in the Kremlin: details

 The Russian dictator rode to the event in a brand new motorcade accompanied by Aurus motorcycles. Putin began his speech by thanking his army.

During the speech, he stated that “the interests and security of Russia will be the main ones for his new term”, and added that the Russian Federation, which “faced with serious challenges, will pass the difficult period with dignity”. Putin named the goal of Russia’s development “people’s protection”. All levels of government, he said, should support “age-old family values.”

Many Western partners refused to attend the inauguration of Vladimir Putin. However, several EU countries did send their representatives to participate in the inauguration ceremony of the Russian president.

According to the publication Reuters  France will send its ambassador to “inauguration”  Vladimir Putin.  At the same time, Germany will not be represented at the ceremony. 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine stated that they see no reason to recognition of Vladimir Putin as democratically elected and legitimate the president of Russia.
