Putin’s press secretary threatened EU countries with consequences for allegedly providing airspace to Ukrainian drones

Putin’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov said that Russia would react if European Union countries allegedly provided their airspace for Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian territory. He said this during a briefing for journalists on March 31, his words are quoted by the Russian agency “Interfax”.

He noted that the Russian military is closely monitoring the development of events, analyzing the situation and submitting appropriate proposals.

“Of course, we believe that if airspace is being provided for the implementation of hostile terrorist activities against the Russian Federation, this will oblige us to draw appropriate conclusions and take appropriate measures”, – Peskov said.

On March 31, the Operational Commander of the Polish Armed Forces said that a fake is being spread on the Internet about the alleged use of Polish airspace for Ukraine to conduct operations against Russia.

Estonia previously called the reports in the Russian information space about the reasons for the appearance of Ukrainian drones over the Baltic countries disinformation.

On March 27, the Latvian Ministry of Defense, against the backdrop of these same statements, warned of a coordinated Russian information operation against Latvia, Lithuania, and Estonia.
