Qatar begins negotiations on the release of Ukrainian civilian hostages held by the Russian Federation

Dmytro Lubynets, the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, reported that Qatar agreed to start negotiations with representatives of the Russian Federation regarding the release of Ukrainian civilians from captivity.

He said about this in ether telethon:

“Qatar has given its consent to start negotiations on the return of civilian hostages“, Lubynets said on the air of the national telethon.

Details regarding the format and date of the talks have not been released at this time.
