Andriy Sybiga, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine spent telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. During the conversation, they discussed plans for a future meeting in Saudi Arabia.
“I had a constructive conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. We discussed the upcoming meeting of the Ukrainian and US delegations in Saudi Arabia”, – said the Ukrainian minister.
He emphasized that Ukraine seeks an end to the war, and the leadership of the United States must play an important role in establishing a lasting peace. According to Sybiga, during the conversation with Rubio, they discussed ways of bilateral cooperation between the countries.
We remind you that next week the Ukrainian and American delegations will meet in Saudi Arabia. As Mike Waltz, US President’s National Security Adviser, said, the framework peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia will be discussed at the meeting.
