Residents of Kharkiv region refuse to leave their homes 1.5 km from the front

In the Kharkiv region, some residents continue to remain 1.5 kilometers from the front line, despite constant shelling and the lack of basic living conditions. About this reported Oleg Sinegubov, head of Kharkiv OVA.

The situation is particularly critical on the left bank of the Oskol in the Kupyansk community. There is no electricity, water, heating, shops, banks or hospitals, but about 135 people remain in these conditions. The area is regularly shelled by Russian troops, who throw significant forces in this direction.

Before the war, 94,600 people lived in the Kupyan community. Now there are about 3,500 residents, including almost 2,000 elderly people and 340 people with disabilities.

The situation in the Borivsky direction also remains difficult. The settlement of Borov is subject to evacuation, and there are no more children there, but there are still children in some other villages of the community. The evacuation of families with children continues, Sinegubov reports.

There is a 24-hour evacuation hotline for community residents: 0-800-33-92-91. The authorities urge citizens to take advantage of this opportunity for their own safety.
