Roma conflict with TCC in Vynohradov: warning shots and hooliganism
Yesterday, May 3, there was a clash between a group of Roma and employees of the TCC and SP in Vynohradov, Zakarpattia region.
As reported by press service GU NP in the Transcarpathian region, about 10 people living in the village of Onok, gathered at the entrance to the territory of the TCC and SP. They were outraged by the mobilization of two of their comrades.
“When the participants in the conflict tried to open the entrance gate by force, the employees of the TCC and the SP fired warning shots into the air“, the police report says.
Several police crews arrived at the scene and ensured public order. No one was hurt. Now the conflict is over.
Police investigators qualified the actions of the Roma as hooliganism (Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code). Perpetrators face up to seven years in prison.
