On the night of April 4, the Russians struck another blow against Ukraine, using Shahed unmanned aerial vehicles. As a result of the shelling of the Russian Federation, 4 people were injured. One child is among the wounded. An 82-year-old woman also died.
As reported commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleschuk, the occupiers attacked Ukraine at night with 13 Shahed-131/136 type UAVs and four S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles. All launches were carried out from the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. As a result of combat work, 13 attack UAVs were destroyed in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions by anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
On the night of May 4, the Russian invaders carried out a massive attack by attack drones on Kharkiv. There were three fires at different addresses, informs State Emergency Service. In total, 4 people were injured, one of them a child. A 2-story office building and a warehouse were damaged. One of the private houses was destroyed, as a result of which an 82-year-old woman died.
Dnipropetrovsk region:
- 5 Shaheds were shot down.
- A critical infrastructure facility was damaged, 3 private houses, 1 of which caught fire.
- 2 people were injured.
Other regions:
- Nikopol region: 5 attacks using heavy artillery, Grad MLRS and kamikaze drones. A utility company, a lyceum, 2 high-rise buildings, a bank, and a power line were damaged.
- Chuguiv: A house, apartments, 2 cars were fired upon. 3 wounded.
- Vovchansk: 2 garage cooperatives, the territory of the former airfield, houses were shelled.
- Kherson region: 18 settlements were shelled. 10 private houses, an educational institution, an inviolability point, a cellular tower, and private cars were damaged.
- Zaporizhzhia region: 246 strikes on 12 settlements. 10 private houses were damaged.
- Sumy region: 7 shelling of border areas and settlements.
