Russia attacked Odessa and Chernihiv regions: there are dead and wounded
On the night and morning of December 25, Russian troops struck infrastructure facilities in the Odessa region and Chernihiv. The attacks resulted in one death and one injury.
According to information from the head of the Odessa OVA, Oleg Kiper, at night the occupiers attacked the port and industrial infrastructure of the region. As a result of the strike, administrative, production and warehouse premises were damaged. Fires broke out at some facilities, which were extinguished by rescuers.
“Unfortunately, one person died, the body was removed from under the rubble. Two more were injured and are receiving necessary medical care,”, – the head of the Odessa OVA reported.
In addition, on the morning of December 25, the Russian army struck a critical infrastructure facility in Chernihiv. This was reported by the press service of the Chernihiv City Council on Telegram. According to official information, one person was injured as a result of the attack.
Also, according to information from the head of the OVA, Vyacheslav Chaus, in the Chernihiv district, a drone attacked the territory of a gardening society, where the blast wave broke out windows in several houses. In the village of Snovska community, an FPV drone hit a power facility, leaving some settlements without electricity. In another village in the same district, a drone hit a timber truck, killing a 63-year-old driver. In the district center, drones attacked one of the enterprises, damaging a building and production equipment. A 37-year-old local resident was injured there.
Another attack occurred in the Novgorod-Siversky district, where an FPV drone hit a civilian car. The 39-year-old driver died on the spot, and the passenger was hospitalized. According to doctors, the woman is in stable condition under medical supervision.
