Russian drones attacked several regions of Ukraine at night: there are casualties

On the night of December 18, Russian troops attacked Cherkasy, Odesa, Sumy, and Mykolaiv regions with strike drones. As a result of the shelling, civilian and energy infrastructure facilities were damaged, and there were casualties among the civilian population. This was reported by the heads of regional military administrations.
In Sumy, in the Kovpakiv district, damage to civilian infrastructure was recorded – windows were broken in residential and non-residential buildings. According to preliminary data, there were no fatalities, at least one person was injured.
In the Odessa district, as a result of an attack by enemy drones, the glazing of a nine-story residential building and an educational institution was damaged, but no fires occurred. According to information from the regional authorities, seven people were injured: six were treated on the spot, and another person was hospitalized in moderate condition.
In the Mykolaiv region, a night attack was directed at the region’s energy infrastructure, which caused a power outage in settlements in the Voznesensky and Mykolaiv districts. As reported in the military administration, there were no casualties.
The head of the regional military administration, Ihor Taburets, reported on the consequences of the shelling of the Cherkasy region.
“Drone attack on the regional center. There are consequences for the infrastructure. All services are working. More information later”, – Ihor Taburets reported.
It is also reported that a residential building was hit in Kryvyi Rih, where a fire broke out as a result of the attack. A headquarters for assisting the victims was deployed in the nearest school. According to official information, two people were injured – a 58-year-old man and a 67-year-old woman.
