Russian forces shelled an “ambulance” in Chernihiv region: two medics injured
In Semenivka on the border of Chernihiv region, Russian troops fired on an “ambulance” vehicle that was returning after carrying out a call. According to information by the head of the Novgorod-Siverskaya Regional Administrative District, Alexander Seliverstov, published on his Facebook page, there were no fatalities during the attack, but two medical workers were injured.
“They managed to leave the car before it was hit”, – Seliverstov noted, emphasizing that the prompt work of the doctors and their quick reaction helped to avoid more tragic consequences.
It is reported that Russian troops have previously struck civilian infrastructure in Semenivka, in particular a music school. Local services and volunteers are trying to quickly provide assistance to the victims and restore damaged infrastructure.
