On the night of April 12, the Russian Federation attacked Ukraine with 17 Shahed-131/136 attack drones and an Kh-59 guided air missile. Air defense forces of Ukraine managed to shoot down 16 enemy drones.

The attack was carried out from two directions:
17 Shahed-131/136 UAVs took off from Cape Chauda (Crimea).
1 Kh-59 guided air missile was launched from the airspace of the occupied Donetsk region.
The Ukrainian military successfully eliminated Russian air targets within six regions:
- Mykolayivska
- Odesa
- Khersonsk
- Dnipropetrovsk
- Vinnytsia
- Khmelnytska
“As a result of the fall of the fragments of a downed drone in Kryvorizhzhia, a fire broke out at the energy facility. Your military has localized it, firefighters continue their work“, – reported in the Telegram channel of the Southern Defense Forces.
