Russian night strikes cause casualties and destruction in various regions of Ukraine
On the night of December 9, shelling by Russian troops was again recorded in several regions of Ukraine, resulting in deaths and injuries.
In Donetsk Oblast, according to the head of the regional military administration Vadym Filashkin, the previous day ended with the death of three civilians: two people died in Kostyantynivka, another one – in Druzhkivka. 16 people were injured in Kostyantynivka, Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk and Sergiyivka.
The head of the Kharkiv Oblast OVA, Oleg Synegubov, spoke about three victims in the region over the past day. According to him, a 77-year-old woman was injured in the village of Kivsharivka of the Kupyansk community; in the village of Kurylivka, a 62-year-old man and a 71-year-old woman were injured.
According to the head of the Kherson region, Oleksandr Prokudin, Russian strikes again hit the residential sector and infrastructure. Houses, farms, a mobile phone tower, a waterworks, a gas pipeline and private cars were destroyed. As a result of these attacks, two people died and five were injured.
The head of Zaporizhzhia, Ivan Fedorov, reported that Russian troops struck the Shevchenkivskyi and Oleksandrivskyi districts of the city. As of the morning of December 9, 12 people were injured, eight of whom were taken to hospitals, and five were in serious condition.
In two districts of the regional center, additional damage was recorded to apartment buildings, a dormitory, and infrastructure facilities.
The Sumy regional administration also informs about the victims after new Russian strikes on the territory of the region.
