Russian troops attacked Ukrainian cities with missiles, aircraft, and drones
Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops have carried out massive strikes on a number of Ukrainian cities, using missiles, aircraft, guided bombs and suicide drones. This is reported in the operational information of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 08:00 on December 24.
According to the General Staff, the enemy carried out two missile and 65 air strikes, used 39 missiles and dropped 160 guided air bombs. In addition, Russian troops conducted 4,341 attacks, of which 105 were from multiple launch rocket systems, and also engaged 7,601 kamikaze drones to destroy them.
Airstrikes were carried out on the settlements of Pokrovske in the Dnipropetrovsk region, Pryluky, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Varvarivka, Hulyaipole, Verkhnia Tersa, Rizdvyanka, Svyatopetrivka, Novoyakovlivka and Malokaterynivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, as well as Zatoka in the Odessa region.
As noted by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, attacks on civilian infrastructure and settlements remain a component of the enemy’s tactics aimed at terrorizing the civilian population.
