Russian troops attacked Zaporizhia region: there are dead and wounded

On the morning of August 6, Russian troops attacked the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result of the shelling, two people were killed, 12 more were injured, four children were among the injured. At least nine buildings were damaged. About this reported Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional military administration.

On August 6, the enemy carried out airstrikes on a recreation center in one of the settlements of the Zaporizhzhia region. According to preliminary information, as a result of the attack, two people were killed and 12 more were injured. Among the injured are at least four children. Data on the number of victims are being clarified.

Rescuers assisted the injured and handed them over to emergency medical teams. Vacationers were also evacuated from dangerous areas. Firefighters eliminate fires in an outdoor structure, cars, and five sources of ignition in an open area. Nine single-story vacation homes were damaged. All emergency services are on site.

Over the course of a day, Russian troops carried out 567 strikes on 16 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. In particular, six airstrikes were carried out on Zarichny, Gulyaipol, Malynivka, Olhivskyi and Novoandriivka.

At the same time, 394 attacks by drones of various types, mostly FPV drones, were recorded in such settlements as Bilenke, Yurkivka, Stepnohirsk, Kamianske, Gulyaipole, Malynivka, Shcherbaki, Novodanilivka, Chervona Krynytsia, Mala Tokmachka and Charivne. Also, the enemy launched six attacks from rocket salvo systems on Plavnyi, Primorskyi, Malia Tokmachka and Novodanilivka.

In addition, 161 artillery strikes fell on the territory of Kamiansky, Gulyaipol, Malynyvka, Shcherbaki, Novodanilivka, Malaya Tokmachka, Charivny, and Novoandriivka. There were 15 reports of damage to apartments, private houses, non-residential premises, warehouses and agricultural machinery.
