Russian troops shelled 35 settlements in the Kherson region during the day, as a result of which eight people were injured, including two children. The head of the regional military administration, Alexander Prokudin, reported on Facebook on the consequences of the attacks on the morning of December 20.
According to him, strikes were carried out on residential areas, critical and social infrastructure facilities. The Russian troops used aviation, artillery, and drones. As a result of the shelling, a theater, a church, an architectural monument, a municipal enterprise, a store, an office building, 29 multi-story and 24 private houses, as well as agricultural machinery, a garage and cars were damaged.
As specified on Facebook by the head of the MVA Yaroslav Shanko, all the victims are residents of the Kherson territorial community. According to him, over the past day, Russian troops have been hitting five settlements in the community – Kherson, Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Sadovye and Zelenivka.
