Yesterday, June 29, the Russian Federation launched two rocket attacks on the center of Vilniansk, where there were many civilians at that time. Rescuers report that they have finished the search. As a result of the hits, fires broke out in shops, residential buildings and vehicles. A civil infrastructure facility was also damaged.

“At 7:46 p.m., emergency workers extinguished the burning of buildings and cars at the site of enemy strikes in the city of Vilniansk. The extinguishing took place in two places at the same time: a two-story building and an annex, in addition, located next to the cars, on an area of 300 square meters and two one-story buildings on an area of 150 square meters. search and rescue operations have been completed. Previously, 7 people died, including 2 children, and 31 people, including 8 children, were injured“, the message says.
Rescuers completed search and rescue operations at the scene of the tragedy. Unfortunately, the death toll may rise, as some of the injured are in critical condition. The police have launched an investigation into this war crime.
Investigators of the police and the Security Service of Ukraine have opened criminal proceedings, the qualification of a war crime is Art. 438 (Violation of laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
