Servant of the People MP Fediyenko to sue Bezuhla over public accusations

Oleksandr Fedienko, a member of the Verkhovna Rada from the “Servant of the People” party, announced that he will sue his faction colleague, People’s Deputy Maryana Bezugla, due to what he considers a discrediting of his person as a citizen and people’s deputy. This is about Fedienko reported on your Facebook page.

The reason for this was Bezugla’s comment on Facebook on October 15, where she spoke about the scandal related to the fighters of the “Azgard” unit and Oleksandr Dmitriev, known as Tykhod. Bezugla stated that Dmitriev is an assistant of Fedienko, who, according to her, is “involved in a number of lobbying and corruption schemes related to issues of cyberspace and communication.” She also noted that Fedienko is using his subcommittee in the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence to promote his own interests.

Fedienko reacted to these accusations, calling them a slander that discredits him, the “Servant of the People” faction and the profile committee. He stated that he would go to court to protect his honor, dignity and reputation. In his public statement, he also called Bezugla’s behavior unacceptable for a people’s deputy and declared his intention to appeal to the regulatory committee to review her actions.

Fedienko emphasized that the trial will be public and “interesting”, and promised that the lawyer who will represent his interests will pleasantly surprise the public.

Maryana Bezugla answered this succinctly noted: “Court is court.”
