Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the Russian Federation has used more than 10,000 missiles and more than 18,000 unmanned aerial vehicles against Ukraine. About this reported The Disinformation Counteraction Center at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on its Telegram page.

According to estimates obtained from open sources, the total value of the munitions used exceeds 18 billion dollars (over 1.8 trillion rubles). As the Center’s analysts emphasize, this amount is much larger than the budgets of individual regions of Russia, in particular the Sverdlovsk region, the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as the Krasnoyarsk and Krasnodar regions.

“Funds of this scale could be aimed at improving the lives of citizens, building schools, hospitals, creating infrastructure and developing regions. However, the priorities of the Russian leadership are focused on terror and destruction, which leaves its own regions in a state of impoverishment.”, – the message of the Center says.

As a reminder, since February 24, 2022, Russia has been carrying out daily attacks on Ukraine using missiles and drones of various types. The largest strike in 2024 took place on the night of August 26, when Russian forces launched 127 missiles and 109 attack drones. The Defense Forces of Ukraine managed to intercept and destroy most of them, shooting down a total of 201 air targets.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian Federation launched 2,023 drones in October 2024 alone. In total, during 2024, the Russian army launched 6,987 attack drones on the territory of Ukraine, aimed mainly at civilian objects and critical infrastructure.
