In January-March 2024, 112.7 billion UAH were allocated from the state budget of Ukraine to social payments, of which 37.4 billion UAH were allocated in March.

Funds are distributed as follows:
- UAH 66.0 billion (UAH 23.5 billion in March) for financing pensions, allowances and increases to them, as well as the deficit of the Pension Fund;
- UAH 21.5 billion (UAH 4.4 billion in March) for social protection of citizens who find themselves in difficult life circumstances;
- UAH 3.6 billion (UAH 1.4 billion in March) to support low-income families;
- UAH 15.1 billion (UAH 5.6 billion in March) for the provision of benefits and housing subsidies;
- UAH 5.9 billion (UAH 2.1 billion in March) for social protection of children and families;
- UAH 0.6 billion (UAH 0.4 billion in March) for social protection of persons with disabilities.
