Sternenko became an advisor to the Minister of Defense on the use of UAVs
Sergiy Sternenko became an advisor to the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov on issues of increasing the use of UAVs at the front. The Minister reported this on his social networks.
As Mykhailo Fedorov noted, a meeting with the volunteer took place before the appointment, and his recent conversation with the President of Ukraine was also taken into account. According to the minister, the parties agreed to deepen cooperation to implement the tasks set in the field of unmanned technologies.
The minister also outlined the key areas that the Ministry of Defense needs to work on right now. These include basic support for drone units, establishing supplies so that the military receives effective weapons that work here and now, as well as analytics and increasing efficiency. According to Fedorov, it is in this block that the expertise of Sergei Sternenko will play a significant role.
“Currently, only 50 units out of 400 provide about 70% of all enemy damage. Our goal is to help the other 350 grow quickly and significantly increase the scale of the destruction of Russians. Additional training, analysis of operations, exchange of experience – we will improve all processes, relying on high-quality data from the front and feedback from the military, wrote Fedorov.
