‘Stop’: Biden delivers message to Putin after US-Russia prisoner swap
On August 1, the press service of the White House officially confirmed the exchange of prisoners with the Russian Federation.

US President Joe Biden, meeting a plane with three American prisoners released as part of an exchange with Russia, called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to “stop”. About this informs Fox News channel.
Reporters asked Biden how he felt about the prisoners returning home, to which he replied, “Satisfaction.” When asked about a message for Putin, Biden answered unequivocally: “Stop.”
He added: “There is nothing beyond our power when we act together… Nothing… We are the United States of America.”
On August 1, the White House officially confirmed the exchange of prisoners with Russia. According to President Biden, three Americans and one green card holder are returning home. The Wall Street Journal has confirmed the release of its correspondent Evan Hershkovich, who was sentenced in Russia to 16 years in a maximum-security prison on charges of espionage.
The Turkish TV channel NTV reported that prisoners from the USA, Germany, Poland, Slovenia, Norway, Russia and Belarus took part in the exchange, which took place in Turkey. Ten hostages, including two children, left for Russia, 13 for Germany, and three for the USA.
