Support programs in “Action” saved Ukrainians 6.5 billion hryvnias for the year
Programs ‘recovery’, ‘housing’, ‘jobs’, training grants and ‘National cashback’. became leaders in terms of savings. According to a study by the Civitta company, thanks to digitalization, these services saved Ukrainians 6.5 billion hryvnias per year. This was reported in the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The research was carried out by the Civitta company on the order of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine with the support of the EGAP program, which is implemented by the Eastern Europe Fund with funding from Switzerland.
The department noted that most of these services appeared thanks to the “Action” and previously did not exist offline at all, so the effect of them is felt from the first day, and costs were reduced by 99%. Digital services saved time by 62% due to the absence of queues and faster service delivery, reduced corruption risks by 25%, as services became transparent, and allowed to save 13% of money, because you have to pay less.
“The average cost of one service without digitalization could be about UAH 10,300, but now, online, it is only UAH 126. This saves UAH 6.5 billion per year and has a positive effect on the Ukrainian economy. Digitization means hundreds of hours that citizens do not have to spend in queues. These are simple and transparent services — without bribes and intermediaries. As well as saved funds, which are converted into the development of the country, emphasized the Ministry of Statistics.
